The internet addiction can be prevented by having a wide variety of hobbies, and interests to occupy one with and prevent oneself from being too focused on internet. Having a wide range of hobbies also help the person to discover things that are more interesting than the internet in life and lead a healthier lifestyle as compared to being addicted to the internet.
Also, internet addiction can be prevented in teenagers by setting rules for oneself. For example, setting a limited amount of time to spend on the internet each day. In this way, the habit of spending too much time on the internet can be prevented and definitely addiction.
In general, we can prevent internet addiction by having more self-control and also having more hobbies.
