我就纳闷了,为什么会有这个差异呢?真不知道hope sb.to do哪里不好 非得hope for sb.to do 你要是认为hope是不及物动词,可以hope that又可以

hope是希望,希望后面都要接“谁谁谁会做什么”.“会做”是will.所以你要加：hope sb. will do sth.
want有一点要求的意思,那么就可以直接加 to do sth.不用 will.“我要求你做什么.”“I want you to do sth.”.但是want后面可以加that.在这里want就不是要求而是希望了.如：“I don't want that”（我不想要那个）.“I want to do that”（我想做那件事）.甚至：“I want that”（我想要那个）.都可以.
你说你的老师是说必须要 hope for sb. to do sth.那是因为hope是一种状态,一种想法.所以要for.你说hope that可以并不是以及物动词来解释的.虽然是hope that,但是也还是不及物动词.that只是代替了一个名词而已,并非是一个“物”.
