Without a second thought, he ran towards the edge of the river. After he got to there, he tangled/tied his feet around a small tree and bent his body over the water trying toreach the dog. He could see that the dog was struggling in the water. But he was able grab the dog and pulled it out of the river. Finally, the dog was saved and Li Peng took a big sigh of relief.
