China to launch Culture Year in Germany
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sino-German diplomatic relations,China will hold a Chinese Culture Year in Berlin.According to officials from the External Cultural Relations of the Ministry of Culture,the Chinese Culture Year will be presented with culture programs of unprecedented size and quality.
Chinese Culture Year will be launched in Berlin on January 30th with a concert in which Yu Long,a renowned Chinese conductor,will lead the China Philharmonic Orchestra.
With more than 500 programs,the Chinese Culture Year will stage music,theater,dance,literature,film,and architecture exhibition for the German people.
Officials believe these activities will further step up the German people’s understanding about China and enhance people-to-people exchanges,particularly among the youth of the two countries.
