There are some natural disasters in my hometown such asfloods and snowstorms.
As my hometown is on the vast plain right by a big river,every year in summer when it is raining and wet,people will become worried thatthere might be too much rain and floods.
As in 1998 our city was also half submergedby the unforeseen flood and my brother and I just joined them is carrying the sandbagsand cooking the food for those brave soldiers who worked night and day along theborderline between the bank and the fierce flood.It was a nightmare but we shouldnever be timid of natural disaster because the great and collective manpower willhelp us conquer them!
