fruit要具体情况具体分析,它共有六个意思,有时可数,又是不可数.
1、指一个一个长在树上的水果时可数；
2、泛指水果时不可数；All fruit have gone bad.
3、水果的种类时,可数（单复数相同）如：Banana and apple are fruit.
4、水果的子实时,可数.
5、借代用法时,可数,常用复数；Their plans have not borne fruit.
6、指哥们时,是英国英语,很少用了：old fruit
