More than half of the winter vacation is over,and pretty soon we will be back to school.During this winter vacation,I did some homework,watched some TV,surfed the Internet,and felt very relaxed.However,there is one touching experience I had that I will remember forever.It happened on the Chinese New Year’s Eve,in a bitterly cold evening in the downtown area.I saw a homeless elderly lady sitting at the corner of the street begging for food,shivering in cold.But every passerby just minded his or her own business,never stopped to help her.I felt very sorry for the old lady and was thinking about giving her a couple of dollars.Suddenly,I saw a little girl running towards the old lady and gave her a cheeseburger.I was very touched and I couldn’t help thinking:why so many of the grown-ups would not help her.I made my mind that the next time when I see a homeless person,I will be the first to help.
